PIA GLASSWORKS

Pia is an experimental Argentine artist based in Barcelona and part of the queer community.

Her work centers on flameworking in blown glass, delving into a non-existent dreamlike world inspired by dreams and the creation of alternate realities. Through innovative techniques and a multidisciplinary approach, Pia challenges conventions and offers profound reflections on identity and diversity.

Her pieces not only emphasize the fragility of the material but also evoke a sense of resilience and connection to the multiple realities coexisting within our experience. In addition to creating art, Pia also teaches classes, sharing her expertise and passion for this unique medium.

She trained with glass artists Simone Crestani, Sibylle Küksek, and Nicole Berger, and has been teaching glassmaking techniques for several years.

In 2025, she presented her work at major international fairs including Venice Glass Week, Milan Design Week, and 3 Days of Design, showcasing her Self Dissolution series. Alongside this body of work, she continues to develop multiple collections that explore glass as both material and emotional language.

At the same time, the artist’s brand and conceptual practice continue to evolve through unique pieces that reflect her own visual language and way of working with glass.
